SPECIAL NEEDS SPECIALIST
LOCATION: Sikeston Head Start Admin Office
This position serves as a liaison between Head Start Public School Special Education Programs and appropriate diagnosticians. It ensures children with disabilities receive the required special education and related services as needed. Responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the disabilities area and assist with the health/mental health area of the Head Start/Early Head Start Program.
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical experience (with disabilities) preferred.
Applicant must have a driver’s license valid in Missouri, transportation and insurance.
