The Part-time Grant Administrator manages specific grant requirements and compliance. The primary focus includes submitting reports, financial statements and complying with the grant requirements, as written.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management.
Creates and maintains a grant calendar of deadlines, works closely with the Fiscal Department to track funding received to assist in grant management and monitoring, works closely with Program Directors and Unit Leaders to prepare grant reports, as needed, works collaboratively with DAEOC leadership and program staff to facilitate the grants process and best represent DAEOC to the community and funders – which include a mix of federal, state and local funding as well as private funding sources and foundations.
A bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Communications, Marketing, English or related degree or equivalent from another accredited institution; and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
