About our Moderate Home Repair Opportunity Program
DAEOC provides Home Repair Services in Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Scott, and Stoddard Counties.
The purpose of the Moderate Home Repair Program is to make repairs on owner-occupied homes to reduce health and safety hazards, increase energy efficiency, and address handicap accessibility needs. The program targets low to very low income individuals, the elderly, and the disabled.
General Requirements:
Repairs cannot exceed $10,000 (This program is to help families fix minor issues with their homes)
All home repair or rehabilitation activities and costs must be performed to assist low-income homeowners at or below 50 percent AMI and must be performed on eligible owner-occupied, single family properties.
Copy of social security card for everyone living in the home.
Proof of ownership of the home
Proof of income for everyone in the home 18 years old +
Proof of Utility Bills
Proof of current home insurance
