Mobile Hygiene Unit Case Manager

This position will plan and coordinate transportation, sites and operation; participates in limited outreach by directing clients to DAEOC services and community partners, when applicable; and provides outstanding client service by performing the following duties:

  • Mobile Hygiene Unit Case Manger will identify locations for shower trailer use, work with DAEOC Mobile Outreach staff to coordinate efforts, haul and set up shower trailer, clean and disinfect shower trailer, assist clients with laundry.

  •  Gathers all client information necessary to determine program eligibility.

  • Seeks resources such as clothing, housing, education, etc. to assist the client in meeting their established goals.

  • Attends meetings and training classes as necessary.

  • Develops network with referral agencies.

  • Required to participate with team members in the effort of accomplishing program operations during emergency situations and peak program periods.

  • Must communicate with other team members by sharing knowledge of new programs or activities that would benefit the productivity and professionalism of the office.

  • Links all available resources (business, industry, volunteer agencies, Employment Security, etc.) for the purpose of assisting individual client in all possible ways.

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of Homeless Shower Trailer, assuring client eligibility and timely reporting of any maintenance/upkeep issues.

  • Maintain supplies including keeping truck and trailer stocked for each day of service.

  • Manage inventory of supplies.

  • Collaborate with cities and counties to develop relationships and gain support of the program.

Applicant must have knowledge of Database, Internet, Spreadsheet, Word Processing software, must have an AA degree with 6 months to 1 year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience and must have a Class E driver’s license valid in Missouri, transportation and insurance.
